The Orquesta Juan D’Arienzo was founded in 2012 to revive the famous tango style of “El rey del Compás”, which became a pivot of tango in the ’30s. Conducted by
bandoneonist Facundo Lázzari, the cast Ricardo Badaracco, Oscar Yemha and Lucas Pantarotto, the violins Pablo Ginzburg, Emilio Pagano and Juan Pablo Cravenna, the piano Pablo Valle, the double bass Andrés Santarsiero and the singer Fernando Rodas. In the last 10 years, the orchestra has made more than 20 tours in Europe, America and Asia, bringing the tango to Italy, Germany, Portugal, Denmark, France, England, the United States, Canada, Brazil, Colombia, Japan and Taiwan, among others. At the same time they traveled all over the country and brought their unmistakable tango style with them. The orchestra has recorded three albums: Cortando Clavos (2014), Siciliano (2018) and Bienvenido a este sector (2018) and they were awarded Best Orchestra at Premios Tango 2018.
